Jobs Australia Member Benefits

Jobs Australia membership is for nonprofit organisations engaged in the delivery of programs and services to assist unemployed people to gain and retain employment.

Our services are designed to be responsive to the needs of our members and to contribute to their capacity to succeed in increasingly complex and demanding program environments. Our services are regularly refined and developed to ensure they stay relevant to our members’ needs.

Consultation and representation

Jobs Australia provides advice, information and assistance to members on a wide variety of program, operational and management issues and regularly consults with members to ensure we know what’s important and relevant to their interests.  We offer timely analysis and commentary for our members on key policy, program and operational issues.

Jobs Australia provides the nonprofit employment and related services sector with strong and effective representation in our own right, through our involvement in other relevant peak organisations and through alliances and partnerships with other bodies.  We represent our members on a range of government advisory and consultative bodies and are influential in a number of national level community and nonprofit forums.

Business support

Our tender advice and review services are designed to enhance your organisation’s chances of success in a competitive market.  We provide advice and assistance to members dealing with operational and management challenges.

Our industrial relations advisers know and understand the unique features of our members’ operating environment.  We provide up-to-date award and pay table information; regular industrial relations bulletins; representation in negotiations on enterprise bargaining and other employment matters; and free advice and assistance for the first two hours on industrial disputes or unfair dismissal claims.
